ARBOFEST 2026 marked a new chapter for Brazilian arboriculture. In its 3rd edition, held on May 16th and 17th in Sorocaba-SP , the event brought together professionals, companies, specialists, competitors, students, families, and enthusiasts of the green areas sector for two intense days of knowledge, business, practical demonstrations, and networking.

More than just a trade fair, ARBOFEST has established itself as a meeting point for arboriculture in Brazil and Latin America, bringing together professionals who work with pruning, tree management, gardening, workplace safety, equipment, technology, innovation, and business management in the green sector.

In just three editions, ARBOFEST has already accumulated:

🍃 Over 1,500 visitors 🍃 Over R$ 3 million in business generated 🍃 Dozens of lectures, workshops, demonstrations, and seminars with industry leaders

The 2026 edition also reinforced the international character of the event. We received visitors from Italy, Peru, Ecuador, Canada, Germany, the United States, and all regions of Brazil , confirming Sorocaba as an important global meeting point for arboriculture.

Technical expertise and leading names in the industry.

The ARBOFEST 2026 program included lectures, demonstrations, and technical activities focused on the main demands of the green space market.

On Saturday, May 16th, after the official opening, the public attended the lecture "The Silent Revolution – How Batteries are Changing the Management of Green Areas," with Alexandre Venâncio , offering a reflection on the advancement of battery-powered technologies and their impact on daily work routines.

Next, we had a Makita demonstration, followed by a lecture on "Safety in Arboriculture: APR and Rescue Plan for Pruning and Cutting Trees," with Francisco, Dante, and Orito , covering fundamental topics for safe tree operations.

Another highlight was the presentation by Peter de Vries from Canada on PPE inspection and the use of Scannable , a topic that is increasingly important for companies, instructors, and professionals who need to ensure the control, traceability, and safety of equipment.

The program also included a demonstration by Resgatécnica , a lecture on Green Area Business Management with Felipe Silveira and João Guilherme , and a presentation by Nina Cavalcanti on Tree Risk Analysis , an essential topic for the responsible management of urban trees.

On Sunday, May 17th, the program continued with high-level content. Isabela Guardia presented the topic "Tree and Root Tomography for Fall Risk Diagnosis," showcasing technologies applied to tree assessment.

We also had a lecture by Gustavo Garcia on how to use cabling in trees . Following that, Flavio Mendes and Giovani Mendes discussed the advantages of a well-configured rigging system , providing practical knowledge for dismantling, moving, and controlling loads in trees.

The program also included the Husqvarna Chainsaw Championship , which drew a large crowd and reinforced the importance of technique, precision, and safety in chainsaw use.

Nighttime Ascent: emotion, technique and sportsmanship

Under the coordination of Lisandro Paz: One of the highlights of ARBOFEST is the Nighttime Ascent , the nighttime tree climbing championship. Unlike other competitions based solely on time, the Nighttime Ascent is an elimination format, making each competition even more intense, strategic, and exciting for both competitors and the audience.

The evening program also featured a special fire show, the SHOW Fire , by Companhia Erva Doce , which brought even more visual impact, energy, and spectacle to the ARBOFEST night. The performance helped create a unique atmosphere, reinforcing the cultural, family-friendly, and welcoming character of the event.

The Nighttime Ascent 2026 also had the support of Monster Energy , a brand recognized for its presence in action sports, high-performance events, and experiences that connect energy, attitude, and overcoming challenges. Monster Energy's participation perfectly matched the atmosphere of the competition: a nighttime, technical, intense, and adrenaline-filled competition that values athletes, performance, and sportsmanship.

In the first edition, in 2024 , the big winner was Alexandre Queiroz , who also won the title again in the second edition, in 2025 .

In 2026 , the third edition of the Nighttime Ascent began with a high level of technical skill and great participation from the competitors. However, towards the end of the competition, rainfall forced the event to be suspended for safety reasons.

The competitors who would advance to the finals would be:

  • Caio Corsato

  • Alexandre Queiroz

  • Giovani Mendes

  • Adrian Soares

  • Francisco Padilla

Given the situation, it was agreed between the competitors themselves and the event organizers that the prizes for this edition would be divided equally and raffled among them , in a gesture of respect, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

Since the competition could not be officially concluded, Alexandre Queiroz remained the interim winner of the edition , maintaining his outstanding trajectory in Nighttime Ascent.

The event's narration also deserves special mention. Thiago Ozanan conducted the presentation flawlessly, bringing energy, clarity, and emotion to the audience during the competition. His participation helped transform Nighttime Ascent into a true spectacle within ARBOFEST.

Exhibitors, sponsors, and supporters who made ARBOFEST happen.

ARBOFEST 2026 was also marked by the strong presence of companies that believe in the growth of arboriculture, professional gardening, and the green spaces sector.

We had the participation of exhibitors, sponsors, and supporters who presented equipment, solutions, technologies, services, and innovations for the market.

The following people were present at the 2026 edition:

  • Arienti — Exhibitor

  • Task — Sponsor

  • Plant Care — Exhibitor

The presence of these brands was essential so that visitors could learn about solutions, compare products, participate in demonstrations, and get closer to the leading companies operating in the sector.

An event for professionals, families, and new generations.

ARBOFEST also stands out for being a family-friendly, welcoming, and accessible environment. In addition to the technical and professional program, the event featured social spaces, food stalls, relaxation areas, and a beer tent, creating a pleasant atmosphere for visitors, exhibitors, and their families.

Another special aspect of this edition was the activities aimed at children, with experiences related to trees and nature. The workshops, led by Gustavo Silvano from Rio de Janeiro through the Tree Madre project, introduced the younger generations to the world of trees in a playful, educational, and sensitive way.

This connection between technical knowledge, business, family, and environmental education reinforces one of ARBOFEST's main purposes: to strengthen the culture of arboriculture and show that caring for trees involves professionals, companies, public authorities, families, and society.

The strength of ArboLab behind ARBOFEST

None of this would be possible without the work of the ArboLab team, who have conceived, organized, and lived and breathed ARBOFEST since its first edition.

Every detail of the event is designed to value professionals in the green sector, bring companies closer to the market, encourage technical qualification, and create a space where Brazilian arboriculture can grow with more security, knowledge, and recognition.

ARBOFEST 2026 was the biggest edition in our history, but it was also a clear demonstration that the sector is maturing, becoming more professional, and gaining increasing visibility.

Thank you for being a part of this story.

Our thanks to every speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, supporter, competitor, visitor, volunteer, and team member who made all of this happen.

You are ARBOFEST.

We conclude the 3rd edition with gratitude, pride, and the certainty that Brazilian arboriculture is experiencing a special moment.

See you in 2027.
